In comparing these AI notetakers, Notta emerges as the more capable solution with superior integration capabilities, faster processing, and comprehensive recording features. While Jamie's only notable advantage is its discreet recording capability, Notta offers significantly better functionality across most areas, particularly in export options, recording capabilities, and third-party integrations.

Jamie is better suited for teams prioritizing discreet meeting recording, while Notta serves a broader range of use cases, especially for organizations using multiple tools and requiring quick, versatile meeting documentation.

Advantages of Notta

Notta offers superior export flexibility
While Jamie only allows basic transcript copying, Notta provides comprehensive export options with access controls and sharing capabilities across multiple platforms. This makes it particularly valuable for teams needing to distribute meeting content across different tools and workflows.
Notta is significantly better at integrations
We found Notta's integration capabilities to be vastly superior to Jamie's limited calendar-only connections. With over 20 major platform integrations including Slack, HubSpot, and Salesforce, Notta enables seamless workflow automation that Jamie simply can't match.
Notta generates meeting notes much faster
Notta generates meeting summaries within seconds, while Jamie takes around 8 minutes even for short meetings. This speed difference is crucial for teams needing quick access to meeting content.

Stackfix Verdict
Functionality
4

Functionality

4/10

It lacks many features, such as audio/video recording and automatic email drafting. This means you have to rely on the transcript for more detailed information if needed.

6

Functionality

6/10

It has most of the common AI notetaker functionalities for recording meetings and generating customisable AI notes, along with bilingual transcription and translation. However, during testing, we found it lacks reliable insights across multiple meetings, as the AI assistant struggled with basic questions when asked to summarise several meetings.

Ease of Use
3

Ease of Use

3/10

Jamie is clunky and lacks many quick-access features found in other AI notetakers, such as the ability to click on a point in the summary for more AI-generated detail or be directed to its source in the transcript. As a result, much of the editing for summary notes is manual, as summary regeneration is not possible.

6

Ease of Use

6/10

Setting up and transcribing is easy, with buttons on the home page for instant recording, file uploads, online meetings, and screen recording. Within meetings, there are quick-send options for sharing notes to integrations. Overall, the general functionalities are straightforward and easy to use.

Look and feel
2

Look and feel

2/10

The design feels clunky and unintuitive. The dark mode UI lacks contrast, making it difficult to distinguish between elements. Navigation is confusing; for instance, clicking the chat button in the navigation bar prompts users to open the Jamie sidebar with a keyboard shortcut—what's the point of that? These kinds of things are common across the app.

The Meetings overview and the Decisions/Tasks/Participants sections feel cramped, with no option to open meetings on a separate page or view in full-screen mode.

The sidebar's theme is stuck on dark, even when the rest of the app is on light mode.

The sidebar itself lacks a close icon, forcing you to use keyboard shortcuts. Additionally, the persistent sidebar is annoying, as it stays above other apps and offers no quick-hide option. Overall, the interface needs significant improvement.

6

Look and feel

6/10

The interface is modern and tidy, with meetings displayed in a compact view on the dashboard, providing a clear overview. There are a few visual bugs, such as components overflowing from their container and red underlines for correctly spelled words in the transcript. The AI assistant is hidden behind an icon and pops out when needed, while the sidebar hides when not in use. The app makes good use of space, displaying notes in a large area to minimise scrolling.

Customisability
3

Customisability

3/10

Jamie offers limited customisability. You can create templates with custom sections for summary notes, but there's no guarantee they'll appear in the final summary. Beyond that, there’s little control over what Jamie generates.

5

Customisability

5/10

You can use your own templates for summaries, but there is limited customisation for who the meetings should be automatically sent to, and for the meeting bot, particularly in terms of which meetings it should auto-join.

Ease of Setup
7

Ease of Setup

7/10

Self-serve, no sales calls. No editable note templates, but template creation includes guided input boxes. Basic setup takes 10-15 minutes. No advanced workflows supported, no Zapier integration or native workflow builder. Requires desktop app installation.

6

Ease of Setup

6/10

Self-serve for basic tiers; enterprise setup requires booking demos. Comes with nearly 30 note templates, customizable but without guided input boxes. Basic setup takes 10-15 minutes. Advanced workflows require Zapier but lack a rich library of Zapier templates, taking 1-2 hours.

Customer Support
5

Customer Support

5/10

There's a "Jamie Help Center" with some quick guides.

4

Customer Support

4/10

It has a help centre with a wide range of self-help articles and a short introductory video. There is no AI agent for answering questions, and to contact support, you must submit a form. Responses are typically provided within 24 hours.

Integratability
1

Integratability

1/10

Only supports connecting to Google or Outlook calendars, nothing else.

8

Integratability

8/10

It integrates with 20+ major software platforms for CRMs, collaboration, storage, and more. Additionally, it offers native iOS and Android apps, as well as a Chrome extension.

Ease of Migration
4

Ease of Migration

4/10

You can copy and paste or share the summary notes and transcript via a link.

8

Ease of Migration

8/10

Meetings can be shared via a link with access controls, including options for public sharing or password protection. It also offers quick send options to export to documents (e.g., Notion, Google Docs), CRMs, messaging platforms (e.g., Slack, Microsoft Teams), and cloud storage services (e.g., Google Drive, Dropbox).
