PS

Outreach and Klenty serve different segments of the sales engagement market, with distinct advantages for each. Outreach is better suited for enterprise businesses requiring sophisticated analytics and extensive integration capabilities, particularly those needing advanced sales forecasting and coaching features.

In contrast, Klenty offers advantages for mid-market businesses, with a more comprehensive channel coverage including SMS and WhatsApp, plus a native contact database that Outreach lacks. While Outreach excels in enterprise features and integrations, Klenty provides a more accessible solution with easier setup and a broader range of communication channels.

Advantages of Klenty

Klenty is significantly more comprehensive in multi-channel outreach than Outreach
While Outreach only supports email, phone, and LinkedIn, Klenty offers additional channels like WhatsApp and SMS. This broader channel coverage is particularly valuable for sales teams needing to reach prospects through their preferred communication methods.

Unlike Outreach which has no native contact database, Klenty provides a substantial database of 600M contacts with granular filtering options. This is particularly valuable for teams wanting an all-in-one solution without needing additional prospecting tools.
Klenty offers significantly easier setup process than Outreach
While Outreach requires going through sales hoops with no self-serve option, Klenty provides a 14-day free trial and self-serve signup. This makes it particularly suitable for teams wanting to quickly evaluate and implement a sales engagement solution.

Stackfix Verdict
Functionality
8

Functionality

8/10

Klenty is very well-rounded tool. Not only does it offer support for more outbound channels than most competitors, but it also provides a strong native contact database too. Additionally, its AI features stood as some of the most thoughtful and well executed we've tested.

7

Functionality

7/10

In terms of outbound channels, you'll find the core ones covered (email, LinkedIn & phone). However, there are some major feature omissions such as the lack of any kind of prospecting database (something you'll find in many simpler, all-in-one products). That being said, it compensates with strong analytics, coaching and forecasting features.

Ease of Use
6

Ease of Use

6/10

Klenty's core prospecting and sequence building interfaces are well designed, intuitive and simple to understand. That being said, some elements of the product took some getting used to due to the sheer breadth of features on offer. On average, it would take an SMB employee less than an hour to become accustomed to the tool.

5

Ease of Use

5/10

Outreach's core interfaces are familiar and relatively straight forward to use. However, given the sheer breadth of functionality some screens (especially those related to the newer AI features) can feel a little confusing on first look. It would take the average SMB employee a few hours to master its use.

Look and feel
6

Look and feel

6/10

Klenty's web app is modern and slick. Most of its interfaces are well laid out and intuitive. We did notice some lag (~3s) when loading prospect searches, however, the rest of the product with smooth and snappy.

7

Look and feel

7/10

Outreach's interfaces are well designed and modern. It's pages were also relatively snappy and quick to load. Overall, the product experience is smooth.

Customisability
6

Customisability

6/10

Klenty offers a fairly standard set of avenues to customize your experience with the product. The most obvious comes in the form of setting up custom templates for sequences. Additionally, you can set up custom workflows and automations throughout the tool. On top of that, we appreciated that you could save search filters in its prospecting database too.

7

Customisability

7/10

Outreach offers a fairly standard set of customization routes. For example, you can provide their AI with context about your business and targets which will then be used across a range of AI features in the product. Outreach's analytics dashboards are also very customizable.

Ease of Setup
7

Ease of Setup

7/10

Unlike some of its larger competitors, Klenty offers a 14 day free trial on all of its plans. Additionally, users can sign up self-serve without having to go through a sales call. Once signed up, initial setup is slick and trivial and sped up thanks to comprehensive blueprint sequence templates too.

3

Ease of Setup

3/10

Outreach does not offer a self-serve product or a free trial. This means you'll have to jump through a number of sales hoops before you're able to get started and use the product. Once you do have access, there's also a fair amount of groundwork that needs to be configured such as setting up sequences, customizing dashboards etc.

Customer Support
8

Customer Support

8/10

Klenty primarily offers support via a live chat widget inside its web app. When tested, we were able to get in contact with a real agent in <10 minutes. Once contacted, we generally found agents to be knowledgeable and helpful. Klenty also offers a well structured help centre too.

6

Customer Support

6/10

Outreach primarily offers support through live chat (although they do also allow you to create traditional support tickets). They also offer a help centre, however, we found this to be slightly overwhelming and poorly laid out.

Integratability
5

Integratability

5/10

Klenty offers integrations with popular CRMs (Hubspot, Salesforce, Pipedrive), common email providers (Gmail, Outlook) as well as automation platforms like Zapier. We would like to have seen native integrations with more external prospecting databases such as Apollo though.

8

Integratability

8/10

Outreach is one of the best integrated tools in the market. It offers integrations with the core CRM players, meeting scheduling apps, automation apps, email providers and more.

Ease of Migration
5

5/10

Klenty offers self-serve export functionality for contacts and analytics data via its web app. Additionally, they also offer an API through which you can interact with the product programatically.
