PS

LeadIQ and Lusha both target SMBs and growing enterprises - however, Lusha is all-around the more mature product. LeadIQ is a near standalone database with limited coverage.

While Lusha excels for SMBs needing intuitive interfaces, a larger contact database and native outbound functionality (if somewhat basic). In the majority of use cases, Lusha is both simpler to use and richer in functionality - making it the better choice for most businesses.

Advantages of Lusha

Lusha is significantly easier to use than LeadIQ
We found Lusha's interface to be notably more intuitive and user-friendly compared to LeadIQ's clunky and dated UI. An average SMB employee could master Lusha in under 30 minutes, while LeadIQ requires several hours to navigate effectively. This makes Lusha particularly valuable for teams that need to get new sales reps up and running quickly.
Lusha offers more comprehensive functionality than LeadIQ
While both platforms provide core prospecting features, Lusha includes additional capabilities like email sequencing and intent tracking that LeadIQ lacks entirely. This makes Lusha a more complete solution for teams that need both prospecting and engagement tools in one platform.
Lusha has better technical infrastructure than LeadIQ
Lusha provides an API and more comprehensive integration options compared to LeadIQ, which lacks an API entirely. This makes Lusha more suitable for organizations that need to build custom workflows or integrate deeply with their existing tech stack.
Lusha provides superior customer support versus LeadIQ
When tested, Lusha's customer support was consistently responsive, with live chat queries answered within 5 minutes. In contrast, LeadIQ's support took over 24 hours to respond and relied heavily on unhelpful chatbots. This difference is crucial for teams that need reliable technical assistance.

LeadIQ is best for

 • Businesses with a moderate prospecting volume (200-1000 leads per month)
 • Who need verified contact data accuracy and phone verification but can tolerate a smaller overall database
 • And/or who want AI email personalization capabilities while using separate engagement platforms like Outreach or Salesloft

 • Businesses with moderate prospecting volume (200-1000 leads per month)
 • Who need verified European contact data and basic native email sequencing capabilities
 • And/or who want basic intent signals and data but don't need advanced automation

LeadIQ is less good for

 • Businesses with high prospecting volume (1000+ leads per month) who need comprehensive data coverage and consistent data quality
 • Who need advanced automation capabilities and workflow management for prospecting at scale
 • And/or who need integrated email sequencing and engagement tracking functionality

Lusha is less good for

 • Businesses with high prospecting volume (1000+ leads per month) who need to manage large sales teams across territories
 • Who need advanced automation capabilities like workflow automation, automated list building, and email warmup
 • And/or who want rich company intelligence with org charts, news tracking and relationship scoring

Functionality
3

Functionality

3/10

LeadIQ's functionality is narrow. When it comes to prospect search, the first hurdle you'll face is the relatively small size of its database compared to some competitors. Additionally, adjacent features around email engagement are omitted entirely meaning that you will need to pay for dedicated outbound tools separately. However, LeadIQ does provide an email/message personalization AI feature which integrates nicely with many outbound platforms.

6

Functionality

6/10

Lusha offers all the core prospecting functionality an SMB would need including email verification, a large contact database and granular filtering options. It's database, though smaller than its US-centric competitors, offers greater coverage and depth in the EMEA region.

Though Lusha recently added an email sequencing feature, we found that the platform lacked many tools that would be helpful for larger enterprises such as the ability to save and share prospect searches, assign territories to sales agents and warm up email domains for running sequences.

Ease of Use
5

Ease of Use

5/10

LeadIQ's limited feature set means that its web app is relatively easy to navigate. Its prospecting interface is familiar when compared to competitors, however, some interfaces are clunky and cramped and often require a second look to find the data point/button you're hunting for. Overall, it would take an average SMB employee a few hours to master its use.

8

Ease of Use

8/10

Lusha's focus on SMBs shines through as its web app was intuitive and easy to navigate. Additionally, its onboarding was simple and not overwhelming. It's core prospecting interfaces are familiar amongst competitors making it easy to pick up. It would take an average SMB employee less than 30 minutes to master its use.

Look and feel
2

Look and feel

2/10

LeadIQ's UI feels dated. When tested, we find many pages to be overwhelming and confusingly laid out which made navigation difficult at times despite the overall lack of functionality. Additionally, search pages were often slow to load (occasionally taking >5 seconds to load).

Look and feel

5/10

Lusha's web app is simple and easy to navigate. Additionally, when tested, we find it's search pages were generally fast to load.

However we did find a few annoyances, for example, the use of bright colours on buttons scattered across the page becomes overwhelming with time. Additionally, excessive use of animations can occasionally cause slow load times and stuttering when switching pages.

Customisability
6

Customisability

6/10

LeadIQ offers a handful of avenues for customisation that would be help to both SMBs and larger enterprises. For example you're able to map additional custom fields when adding contacts to external CRMs/engagement platforms and you're able to manage/assign territories for individual sales agents.

4

Customisability

4/10

While Lusha offers the ability to create custom lists, it lacks some customisability facets that larger businesses may find helpful. These include the ability to save and share custom searches with colleagues or to manage and assign territories to specific sales agents. As such, Lusha is better suited to SMBs with a moderate prospecting volume.

Ease of Setup
7

Ease of Setup

7/10

LeadIQ offers a simple, self-serve free trial for their platform. When tested, we found the initial setup to be very simple (taking <5 mins). Additionally, the lack of native email sequencing functionality means it doesn't take long to get the most out of the platform either. The only areas which do take some time to configure are buried in settings - such as the ability to manage/assign territories for individual sales agents.

7

Ease of Setup

7/10

Lusha offers a simple, self-serve free trial for their platform. When tested, we found the initial setup to be simple (taking <10 mins). Additionally, connecting email addresses to their outbound platform was relatively trivial too - with a one click connect feature for popular providers like Google.

However, full customization of the platform can take several days given Lusha's breadth of features e.g. connecting to CRMs, downloading chrome extensions etc.

Customer Support
3

Customer Support

3/10

You can contact a support agent via a live chat widget inside LeadIQ's web app. When tested, we found the default chat bot to be unhelpful and often linking to irrelevant help centre articles. Additionally, when tested, it took over 24 hours to contact a real agent to answer our queries.

However, LeadIQ does provide a detailed help centre which was able to answer almost all basic questions we had in testing.

8

Customer Support

8/10

Lusha's primary means for customer support is via a live chat widget within their web app. It was quick and simple to contact a real support agent (often <5 mins) and when tested, we find them to be helpful and about to troubleshoot technical questions often in the first response.

Additionally, Lusha provides a help centre and API documentation which should cover most basic support needs, however, it lacks granularity in some areas.

Integratability
4

Integratability

4/10

LeadIQ provides a number of integrations with popular CRMs (Salesforce, Hubspot), email clients (Gmail) and engagement platforms (Outreach, Salesloft). However, we would like to see an API offered (as most competitors do today).

6

Integratability

6/10

Lusha provides a number of integrations with popular CRMs (Salesforce, Hubspot), sales engagement platforms (Outreach, Salesloft), email clients (Gmail, Outlook) and automation platforms like Zapier. Additionally, it offers an API through which users can interact with Lusha's database directly.

Ease of Migration
4

Ease of Migration

4/10

LeadIQ offers self-serve export functionality within its web app.

However, we would like to have seen an API on offer (as many competitors do currently) for direct querying and interaction with the LeadIQ database.

6

Ease of Migration

6/10

Lusha offers self-serve export functionality for both contacts and companies. However, the limits set on company export volume via this method means that its best suited to SMBs and not larger enterprises.

Additionally, Lusha offers a well-documented API through which businesses are able to interact with their database directly.
