Snov.io and RocketReach are two very different products. Snov.io is better suited to SMBs seeking an all-in-one platform for both prospecting and outbound engagement, with strong email automation capabilities but limited data depth.

RocketReach, conversely, is ideal for teams that need focused prospecting capabilities and deep company insights, but plan to use separate tools for engagement. The choice between them largely depends on whether a business prioritizes data quality and search capabilities (RocketReach) or integrated outbound automation features (Snov.io).

RocketReach's contact database search functionality is vastly superior to Snov.io's, offering the most granular set of filtering options in the market. While Snov.io lacks basic filters and phone data, RocketReach provides comprehensive search capabilities that are particularly valuable for teams needing precise prospect targeting.

We found Snov.io's email sequencing capabilities to be far superior to RocketReach's basic one-off email functionality. While RocketReach only allows sending individual emails, Snov.io provides full email sequence automation with personalization, email warmup features, and multi-channel capabilities including LinkedIn outreach - critical for teams running sophisticated outbound campaigns.
Snov.io offers better email deliverability tools
Unlike RocketReach which lacks email warmup capabilities, Snov.io includes native email warmup functionality to improve deliverability. This is especially valuable for sales teams who need to protect their domain reputation while scaling outbound campaigns.

<p>RocketReach is a no-frills lead generation tool. It's prospecting interface provides some of the most granular filtering options out of any product on the market. Additionally, the size of its contact database ranks as one of the largest amongst competitors.</p><p>However, RocketReach lacks many common outbound features that you might expect to see. Though it does provide the ability to reach out to leads one email at a time or automate reach out to multiple leads through its AI - you are not able to create email sequences meaning that most businesses will want to use a dedicated engagement platform alongside RocketReach.</p>

<p>Unlike many products in this market, Snov.io is more than just a database - it bundles in a outbound sequencing tool and a CRM too. Whilst its email/LinkedIn automation toolkit is well executed, its prospecting functionality leaves a lot to be desired - missing key pieces of data such as phone numbers, buyer intent signals and technographic data.</p>

<p>RocketReach's web app is simple and easy to navigate. However we did find the design aesthetic to feel dated and and handful of views to be overflowing and cramped with excessive information. Though most pages were fast to load, some searches were slow to render (often &gt;5s).</p>

<p>Snov.io's interface is modern and well presented. When tested, we find its search pages to load quickly, often under 2 seconds. However, the use of bright colours throughout the interface can be a little overwhelming at times.</p>

<p>You can contact RocketReach's customer support via a live chat widget inside their web app. At first, you'll be greeted by an AI bot which, when tested, we found to be relatively unhelpful and eager to hand you off to irrelevant help centre articles. However, it is fairly easy (&lt;2 mins) to reach a real support agent if within their operating hours. Though once we were in touch, we found agents to lack knowledge about complex questions and often leaning on providing irrelevant help centre links for answers.</p>
