Goodmeetings pitches itself at high-volume sales teams with an industry focus on E-learning, Insurtech, SaaS and IT Services. Their unique approach is to take the notetaker product and build out customized insights and prompts based on their customers' specific use cases and business needs. As a result the off-the-shelf product looks not quite as 'finished' as others on the market. For example, you can build your own sales playbook but you won't find a default playbook such as MEDDIC in the platform.

Pros
Highly customizable platform
The platform to be exceptionally customizable, allowing teams to work with the vendor team to build out their own sales playbooks and AI prompts. This flexibility is particularly valuable for organizations with unique sales methodologies or industry-specific requirements.
Comprehensive export capabilities
We were impressed by the platform's robust export functionality, which enables teams to share and analyze meeting data in multiple formats. Users can trim and share recordings, and export transcripts and AI insights in PDF, Word, and CSV formats.

Cons
Poor Core Functionality
The basic functionality is seriously flawed. During testing, we couldn't view calendar events in the platform, and recorded meetings took hours to appear in the library. For sales teams needing quick access to conversation recordings, this could severely impact deal momentum.
Confusing User Interface
We found the platform difficult to navigate, with poor information architecture putting billing info front and center instead of crucial meeting data. The interface lacks intuitive design, forcing users to hunt for basic features.
Limited Integration Capabilities
The integration ecosystem is severely restricted. Core integrations like CRM and Slack are relegated to paid add-ons, and even then, their functionality is limited. For teams running complex tech stacks, this creates unnecessary friction and data silos.
Abysmal Customer Support
We found the customer support to be inadequate. Technical questions went unanswered for days, leaving users stranded. The online help consists merely of YouTube videos - useless for specific troubleshooting needs.
Goodmeetings is best for
- E-learning, Insurtech, SaaS and IT Services businesses with high-volume sales teams seeking highly customized conversation intelligence.
- Who are comfortable building p custom sales playbooks from scratch rather than using pre-built frameworks
- And/or who need flexible export options for meeting recordings and AI insights
Goodmeetings is less good for
- Businesses needing an out-of-the-box solution with pre-built sales frameworks and quick insights
- Who need quick technical support, as response times can stretch to days and help is limited to YouTube videos
- And/or who need real-time conversation analysis like monologue warnings or battle cards during calls
