Gorgias is a well-rounded support offering specifically tailored to e-commerce brands - as such it offers rich integrations with all the major e-commerce players you'd expect like Shopify, BigCommerce etc. The platform also features strong coverage of almost all the channels you'd expect as well as a decent help centre offering and AI chatbot functionality too. Whilst none of these stand-out as particularly impressive in their own right, when put together, Gorgias becomes a powerful solution for e-commerce brands with a moderate support volume looking for a tool with deep integrations with their e-commerce stack.

We found Gorgias' Shopify integration to be exceptional. The platform provides a customizable Shopify sidebar and macros with Shopify actions, while its AI agent can automate common e-commerce requests like order tracking and delivery rescheduling.

The chatbot creation experience is remarkably poor. Instead of providing a modern drag-and-drop interface, Gorgias forces users to wrestle with a convoluted, shared automation rules interface that feels like an afterthought.

The help centre offering is disappointingly basic. While it covers fundamental features, it lacks any standout capabilities that would elevate it above competitors, making it a bare-minimum solution for self-service support.
