There are better AI notetakers for everything that Jamie does. Its only strength is its ability to analyze and provide insights from multiple meetings, but - even then - it can only extract basic information. The UI is clunky, particularly the pop-out sidebar with the AI assistant, and it's missing a lot of core functionality. Its free tier is very limited, offering just 10 free meetings per month and capping responses from the AI assistant.

Cons
Painfully Slow Note Generation
We found Jamie's note generation process to be excruciatingly slow, taking around 8 minutes even for 2-minute meetings. This is a major bottleneck for teams needing quick access to meeting insights, especially those running multiple back-to-back meetings.
Unreliable Speaker Identification
We encountered significant issues with speaker identification during testing. The system frequently failed to recognize speakers, added phantom 'SPEAKER_01' tags, and sometimes split single speakers into multiple identities.
Limited Customization Options
Our testing revealed severely restricted customization capabilities. While you can create custom templates, there's no guarantee they'll appear in summaries, and you can't regenerate notes in different templates after creation.
Poor User Interface and Experience
We found the interface to be frustratingly clunky and unintuitive, with a dark mode UI lacking contrast and confusing navigation. The persistent sidebar with no close icon and forced keyboard shortcuts exemplifies the poor design choices.
Severely Limited Integrations
Jamie's integration capabilities are virtually non-existent. It only connects to Google or Outlook calendars, lacking crucial integrations with common workplace tools like Slack, Asana, or even basic export options to Google Docs.
Jamie is best for
- Businesses with a low meeting volume (5-10 meetings per week) who need basic transcription and note-taking
- Who need basic AI-generated meeting summaries and don't require advanced customization or integrations
- And/or who want to analyze themes across multiple meetings despite basic accuracy
Jamie is less good for
- Businesses with moderate to high meeting volume (10+ meetings per week)
- Who need sophisticated meeting note customization and template management
- And/or who need robust integrations with other business tools like Slack, Asana, or Notion
