Key findings

Salesroom goes beyond usng AI to extract data from meeting transcripts and surface insights for reps and managers, Salesroom leans into AI to provide real-time, in-call coaching for reps. The platform is aimed squarely at sales teams that have plenty of data, but have not seen the expected changes in their reps' behaviours. This may be from Sales Enablement / Training teams being overstretched, or lacking objectivity in training. We like the customizable flash cards, so your reps benefit from instant feedback on what they're doing well, and when/how to course-correct. We like the refreshingly clean interface and high-quality transcription. Notes, summaries and action items are concise and grounded. Uniquely you can hold video conferences within the platform and save the cost of a conferencing platform. A major limitation is that insights are at the conversation level, while other platforms surface insights from the history of conversations over a deal timeline.

We were impressed by the sophisticated Live Coaching system that provides real-time battle cards during calls. Sales reps receive customizable cue cards for customer intelligence, objection handling, and success stories, plus actionable feedback on behaviors like interrupting or talking speed.

We were impressed by the platform's extensive customization capabilities. Teams can modify pre-built playbooks like MEDDIC and BANT, create custom signals for AI prompts, and tailor cue cards to match their specific business needs and ICP.
Clean, Intuitive Interface
We appreciate the platform's clean interface design that makes navigation between meetings, workflows and team insights effortless. Creating new meeting links is straightforward, demonstrating thoughtful UX design for daily sales activities.
Frictionless Setup Process

We found the self-serve trial setup process remarkably smooth, requiring no payment details or sales conversations to get started. This makes it particularly appealing for sales teams switching from hands-on to real-time coaching.

We found the platform lacks essential features for sophisticated sales teams, particularly in deal forecasting and review capabilities. This makes it challenging for sales managers who need comprehensive deal management and forecasting tools integrated into their conversation intelligence platform.

Limited Recording Import Capabilities

We discovered you can only capture insights from meetings recorded within Salesroom itself - there's no ability to upload external recordings.

Slow Customer Support Experience

We found the customer support to be frustratingly inadequate, particularly the non-responsive live chat feature. This is especially problematic for sales teams who need quick technical assistance during critical customer calls or when setting up important sales meetings.

No Mobile App Support
The absence of a mobile app severely limits flexibility for sales teams who need to review recordings on-the-go or receive push notifications about deal progress - a crucial limitation for field sales teams and remote workers requiring mobile access.
